  • Name: To create an account, you must provide us with your First and Last name, these names will serve as your display name. You can change or modify any name you used as your display name anytime.

Other optional information provided by you directly to us

  • Story information: Following information will be collected only if the user is creating a Story:
    • Title;
    • Category of the Story;
    • Country;
    • Story description;
    • How to help description;
    • One to three contact details;
  • Story Images: As a Writer, you can add an image or more images to a Story you are writing. These images are public and will serve as cover picture or gallery/Story pictures which will display on your Story. Uploading a pictures to a Story is not compulsory, you hold the right to upload, delete and change any of the picture you added to a Story.
  • Profile Images: As a user, you can add an image your profile. This image is public and will serve as your display picture (Profile picture) which will make it easy for other users to easily identify you when you are being searched and display on your User Page. Uploading a pictures to your profile is not compulsory, you hold the right to upload, delete and change any of the picture you added to your profile.
  • Subscription information: email address will be collected if you choose to subscribe us. If you want to change default settings of subscription following details will be collected. You can always change it or delete the details we collected about your subscription whenever you want.
    • Category of the Stories you receive;
    • Country of the Stories you receive;
  • Search Data: Any information entered into a search bar will not be considered as public information. We may store this data for analytical purposes and system improvement. No personal information will be stored in that process.

You must provide us with accurate and complete information and also ensure that your data are always up to date. Impersonating someone else, providing an email address other than your own or the creation of multiple accounts on our website is strictly prohibited failure to comply constitutes a breach of our policy, which may result in the prompt termination of your account on our Service. Your personal information can be used to contact you with newsletters, promotional or marketing materials and other data that may be of interest to you. You can choose not to receive any or all of these communications from us by following the link here or by following the instructions given in such email or by contacting us.

The user is responsible for the information and images that he/she provides to display and should think about what he makes public especially if it is sensitive information (politics, health, financial info, family details, sex life, children info, research materials etc.).

Account and Story Pages

If you as a user of our platform or website create an account or a Story, they will immediately be viewable by anyone around the world or/and other users of our service. Below is the information that will be displayed on the Story page you create and Writer's page:

  • Writer's (user's) first and last names;
  • Username;
  • Display/Profile Picture, Cover Picture, and Story images
  • Country of the Story;
  • Title of the Story;
  • Story description;
  • Description on how to help;
  • Contact details given in the Story;
  • Your approval to share the Story

Your email address which you used to sign up with this website and your password are not public information unless you have mentioned them in a content you create on this website.

Deleting Story: Users can delete their Stories at any time. Deleted Stories will no longer appear in our website’s search results. Kindly know that deleted Stories cannot be recovered.

Success Story: If you marked a Story as a "Success Story" you can no longer change pictures or other details of it and you will have to delete the Story to remove images and other details.

Deleting account: You can stop using the Services at any time. Users can delete their accounts with a simple process. Once a user submits a deletion request, the account will be deleted immediately. In the event of termination, we reserve the right to remove any content or personal information left on our servers.

Kindly know that search engines and other third parties may still retain your public information such as your Stories and Writer's page even after you deleted your Stories or deleted your account.
